DIY Ice-Cream

If you’re tired of store-bought ice cream that tastes like disappointment in a pint, it’s time to take matters into your own hands.

With this blender recipe, you can make homemade ice cream that’s actually worth screaming for. So put down that store-bought freezer concoction and get ready to blend your way to creamy, dreamy deliciousness.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and frothy.
  2. Pour the mixture into a shallow container and freeze for about an hour.
  3. Remove the container from the freezer and stir the mixture to break up any ice crystals. Repeat this process every 30 minutes or so until the ice cream is thick and creamy.
  4. Once the mixture is fully frozen and creamy, transfer it to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until firm.

Scoop and enjoy!
